Edward Snowden on data privacy in times of Corona

In the following interview Edward Snowden describes why we also have to think about the future and how our current decisions influence it. He emphasises the gap between the presumed effects of certain measures (tracking all location data) and its actual effects. One of the strongest statements he makes is:

The funniest part about it, in a dark way, is that the emergency never ends. It becomes normalized when we talk about mass surveillance.
